Coffee may reduce risk of prostate cancer in men. It is known from research conducted by a team of researchers from Harvard Medical School, United States. Research was conducted on 50,000 men who regularly drank coffee. Results showed the risk of prostate cancer in men who drink coffee regularly reduced by 60%.
Research team estimates that the substance contained in coffee could suppress the growth of cancer cells. According to the researchers, coffee has an effect on insulin and glucose metabolism, as well as sexual hormones play an important role in prostate cancer.

Prostate Cancer
“Only a few lifestyle factors that directly related to risk of prostate cancer. These findings are very encouraging, especially for coffee lovers”. said Helen Rippon, from Prostate Cancer Charity, such as VIVANews quotes from dailymail, Dec, 9 2009.
According to Rippon said, the study could be an indication that drinking coffee regularly can reduce prostate cancer. But further research is needed to determine the content in coffee that can suppress the growth of prostate cancer cells.
Rippon said, “We do not recommend a man to drink coffee a lot because of the high caffeine content and can endanger health”.
Recommend to couples or your friends to consume a cup of coffee per day, but do not overdo it. It’s because coffee can reduce the risk of prostate cancer and not cause other health problems. Also do sports at least 15 minutes per day to reduce the risk of death from prostate cancer.
